Equipment
Jiu Jitsu (Youth)
Here's a list of equipment your child will need, as well as a few optional items that make class comfortable. We've provided some links below to equipment that we trust to be both affordable, and durable. We earn a small commission on those sales, which helps us keep the cost of classes down. Purchase as many sets as you find practical (how often you want to have to wash them...) You probably have many of these items already, or have purchased them for your child's other classes. That stuff will work great, so long as it doesn't have any zippers or sharp/hard materials on them. If you're buying new stuff, there are a plenty of satisfactory products on both ends of the price continuum from the stuff we recommended. We'd be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't hesitate to reach out!

GI CLASS
(Wednesday)
A Gi is the set of pants & jacket worn by practitioners of many different types of martial arts. Colored belts are used to signify advancement and achievement. A Jiu Jitsu Gi has a thicker collar than most, and is made from more durable materials, so it can stand up to being in contact with the mats and other practitioners.
NO GI CLASS
(Friday)
As the name implies, "No Gi" is Jiu Jitsu performed without wearing a Gi. This instruction helps your child to round out their practical understand of the techniques they are learning.
